1. Press and release the program button. The Red light will start to flash slowly.
2. With the hand transmitter next to the head unit, Press and hold a button on the hand transmitter (the one which you want to operate the door) until the LED flashes RED and BLUE..
3. The red light on the ProMatic will now start to flash quickly. Keep the button held down on the hand transmitter for 5 seconds and release.
4. The red ProMatic light will now flash 7 times then the main courtesy light will illuminate to indicate the process is complete. DO NOT PRESS ANY MORE BUTTONS UNTIL THE COURTESY LIGHT HAS COME ON.
The process is now complete and the hand transmitter should now activate the operator.
I had one of my operating buttons stolen during a burglary. can i reprogram the unit to not accept the old buttons signal or more accurately can i change the unit to accept new but not old buttons
Hi Bryan, this can be done but the process will vary slightly depending on the fobs you have. Do you have the series 2 or 3 fobs? If you aren’t sure you can email repairs@abidoors.co.uk with a photo.
Can you code in the hand sets before you install the motor head ? I’ve tried but will not allow me!
Hi Paul, I’m not sure how you would do this as you would usually have to set the door up and limits on the head unit before you can code hand transmitters in.
