The health and safety of our customers, our staff and our community are of paramount importance to us, and we would like to thank you all for your patience as we have worked out the best ways to keep everyone safe throughout the pandemic. As we transition into a more normal way of working, we still want to keep everyone safe. So for now, we will continue to keep an eye on official guidance and have implemented a number of actions to ensure that we can continue to operate safely.

What types of work are you undertaking at the moment?

We are undertaking all types of work. Our team remains productive, busy, and happy to receive calls and emails from existing and prospective clients. Our showroom and trade counter are open, and we are undertaking home surveys, repairs, and full installations.

IMPORTANT: Please let us know if anyone in your household has tested positive for Covid-19, has symptoms of Covid-19 or is self-isolating, so we can take proper safety precautions to protect you and our engineers during their visit.

What do I need to do to prepare for my appointment?

Keeping you and our engineers safe is our top priority. Please help us to do this by:
When you book we’ll ask if anyone in your home:

  • Opening doors and windows where possible to ensure good ventilation while a member of our team is in your home
  • Staying at least two meters away where possible
  • Keeping pets and children out of the way where we are working
  • Asking everyone in your home to stay in another room where possible. We use potentially dangerous tools so keeping your distance will prevent accidents

How will you work safely at my home?

Our engineers aren’t wearing face coverings or respirator masks as standard, but they will:

  • Wash or sanitise their hands before entering your home – and at regular intervals during the appointment
  • Wear face masks if you’d like them to (unless they are medically exempt)
  • Wear disposable or protective gloves as appropriate for the job
  • Stay at least two metres away from you where possible

What if I have an appointment booked but test positive for Covid-19 or have symptoms?

Keeping everyone safe is our top priority. So if anyone in your home develops symptoms of Covid-19 (high temperature, new continuous cough, loss of taste/smell) or is self-isolating, it’s really important to tell us.
