Classy composite door installation carried out in Sheffield

The brief

As you can see from the before and after photos, rather than opting for a complete design overhaul, the customer wanted their old model replacing with a similar traditional composite door. They also liked the amount of natural light they received in their hallway, so a generous amount of glazing was an absolute must, as was a toplight above the door.

Our solution

After conducting a free site survey and going through all the options with the customer, both parties agreed that Endurance’s popular Elbrus design was the perfect choice. This particular model offers an ideal balance between letting natural light in whilst still delivering privacy. The four separate glazed panels give the door a real sense of drama, as does the Raven Black colour. This timeless shade suits almost every type of property, and due to the fact it’s highly durable, it’ll maintain its pristine appearance for many years to come. To round things off nicely, the customer opted for a few classy gold accessories, as well as replacing their old bell on the frame of the door.

The installation

Once we’d agreed on the type of door and the customer had given us the green light to proceed with the project, we used our measurements from the free site survey stage to order the model from Endurance. We then arranged an appropriate installation date before removing (and eventually disposing of) the customer’s old door, fitting the new one and tidily cleaning up after ourselves once finished. We never subcontract our installations and all our engineers are employed directly by us, so anyone using our services has complete peace of mind that the work is done to the highest of standards.
